There are two ways to delete your Fux account and the data attached to it. Neither requires the app to be installed: the deletion option is in account settings both in the app and on the web client, and a request can also be sent by email.
In the app:
On the web client: sign in to your Fux account in a browser, open account settings and use Delete account. This route does not require the app to be installed, and the request is processed exactly as one sent from inside the app.
If you can reach neither of the routes above, write to enesaktas.ce@gmail.com with "Account Deletion Request" as the subject. If you cannot access the email registered to the account, include your username and information that can help us verify ownership. Once verified, we complete the request within 30 days.
As soon as the request is accepted, access to the account is closed and its Firebase identity is deleted, so existing refresh tokens can no longer create new sessions. The request cannot be cancelled after this point. Permanent removal of the attached content starts through the processing queue within 7 days, and the following are erased:
After deletion, only limited records that are necessary for legal obligations, the establishment or defence of claims, and service security are retained. Email, username, prompt text and media references are removed from those records, and the account is represented by a deleted technical pseudonym:
The remaining records are deleted when those purposes and the applicable legal retention periods end. Once deletion has completed we cannot restore your account.
You can remove parts of your data while keeping your account:
If you want data deleted that is not in this list — your messages, generation prompts or notification history, for example — write to enesaktas.ce@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account, stating which data you want removed. We complete the request within 30 days at the latest and your account stays open.
If you want a copy of your data before deleting your account, use the data export option under Settings → Privacy in the app.
